Different route. Useful perspective.

For twenty-one years, I worked as a painter and independent builder in the Swiss Alps.

Painting taught me to prepare carefully, notice what others miss, work within physical constraints, and leave behind something that holds up. Running my own work taught me responsibility: when something fails, there is nowhere to hide.

I brought that same mindset to software. I taught myself to build with AI-assisted development and moved quickly from experiments to systems with persistent state, external services, deployment pipelines, safety boundaries, and real users.

I do not pretend my route is conventional. That is part of its value. I combine practical judgement, visual sensitivity, customer understanding, and the persistence to carry difficult work across the finish line.

In August 2026, I am relocating to Copenhagen to build AI products full time.
